The entire user interface, registration, ... will be rewritten. The new version is a 64bit application and also supports all Mac devices with Retina display. It forms the basis that I will develop further, so that you have a playable version in the next few years.

I recommend all Mac users to switch to Rasche`s Kartenspiele 4.

I have now decided to continuously expand and improve the scope of the new V4. What I'm planning, you can read on this page. At the moment I'm working on getting the V4 running stable and providing all the most important functions.

Due to the continuous expansion of the functional scope, we will be able to offer only the subscription version at the beginning. The (current) annual fee is € 19.90 but below the previous update price of € 28. When subscribing, you will also receive all new features and improvements automatically.

Of course, there is also a buy version, however, this then only represents the current status of the functions and game strengths at the time of publication. A care over several years - as with Rasche's Kartenspiele 3 over seven years - is unfortunately no longer feasible. In any case, you will receive free product updates for a product for one year. Of course you can extend this maintenance / update period for a fee, entirely according to your wishes and technical conditions.

It is planned to release a major version per year that reflects the current state of development. Cheap update prices are of course planned. If you skip more than one major version, you will not be able to use the update price.

With the release of macOS 10.15 Catalina, the purchase versions (Skat 10 - 10 Pro  / Doppelkopf 10 - 10 Pro / Schafkopf 10 - 10 Pro (Download) and Quick Skat 5, Quick Doppelkopf 5 and Quick Schafkopf 5) can also be purchased.

You have in subscription with 19.90 Eur per year more exclusive features and strengths that are not available in the purchase versions.

Basically, I've fixed a lot of messiness in the game routines (AI), which were shown to me through automatic analysis tools or through modern game tools. This causes me to have to implement an automatic comparison with the old game routines up to V3.6. At the same time, I'm preparing new possibilities for the game routines with the next AI generation. The calculator will automatically learn how to play games, recognize your mistakes and help them avoid them. For this I log anonymously the individual games in a separate database, so I later have data for error detection. Logging is done anonymously on a completely different computer. Personal names, ... are not deposited there.

This will be a continuous development process that will last for several years and also extends to the current premium gaming routines. There will not be a direct successor of the premium purchase products (for example Skat 8 Premium, Doppelkopf 6 Premium, ...) in 2019. All users who want to use the most powerful version can then use our new subscription system "Premium Subscription". The subscription ends automatically after the expiration. Our current club membership is just being renamed. I am planning many additional features that I will release over time. For a purchased product (here my premium series) I have to specify the exact range of functions, which is not possible for me from today's perspective. I just want to try several options and then later decide what the customer wants and what works best. Customer wishes should be better incorporated in this way. An Internet connection is currently required.

I'll be fully involved in playing bridge, because as 1. Bridge courses are planned by me, which should appear under Rasche`s Kartenspiele 4.
